THE DEARNE PHEASANT

The Dearne Pheasant’s September Social Media Competition Terms and Conditions

 

1. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “prize” refers to a canvas print as detailed in point 5.

2. By entering the competition, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry.

3. Only one entry per account is permitted on each social media platform (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter). Entries that are not complete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the dole discretion of The Dearne Pheasant Ltd.

4. At the end of the competition, 1 winner will be randomly selected using an online random name picker.

5. The winner of the competition will win 1 prize: a canvas print of their choosing (from the 4 available designs) measuring approximately 20cm x 30cm provided by ArtByJollification.

6. The winner must be available to claim their prize within 24 hours of the competition winner being announced. If the winner does not contact The Dearne Pheasant by replying to the winning message within this time, another name will be selected.

7. In order to enter the competition, participants must comment on the contest post and tag a friend in that comment.

8. The competition will close at 19:00 BST on Sunday 12th September 2021. Entries received after this time will not be eligible to win.

9. The competition is only open to legal residents of the United Kingdom, excluding Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, the Isles of Scilly, Northern Ireland and remote areas of Scotland.

10. By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these rules and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of The Dearne Pheasant Ltd. as final and binding. The competition is subject to all constraints of UK law. 

11. No purchase necessary. Winners will not be required to pay to enter the competition.

12. Employees of The Dearne Pheasant Ltd will not be eligible to enter.

13. Instagram, Facebook and Twitter are not in any way affiliated or involved with the competition.

14. Each entrant shall enter the competition by completing one or more of the three following options once only:

    1. via Instagram by answering the question with the word “Doncaster”, “Barnsley”, “Rotherham” or “Sheffield” and tagging another Instagram user by comment with one of the four aforementioned options and “@InstagramUsersHandle”.

    2. via Twitter by answering the question with the word “Doncaster”, “Barnsley”, “Rotherham” or “Sheffield” and tagging another Twitter  user by comment with one of the four aforementioned options and “@InstagramUsersHandle”.

    3. via Facebook by answering the question with the word “Doncaster”, “Barnsley”, “Rotherham” or “Sheffield” and tagging another Instagram user by comment with one of the four aforementioned options and “@FacebookUsersName”.

15. The Dearne Pheasant Ltd will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled.

16. The Dearne Pheasant Ltd will not be held liable for failure of receipt of entires. The Dearne Pheasant Ltd takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.

17. The the extent permitted by applicable law, The Dearne Pheasant’s liability under or in connection with the competition or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost of the prize in question.

18. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Dearne Pheasant Lts shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the competition or any prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such a cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and The Dearne Pheasant Ltd  and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.

19. Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a prize becomes unavailable for any reason, The Dearn Pheasant Ltd reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.

20. The name, address, email address and phone number of hte winner must be provided to The Dearne Pheasant Ltd if requested and will be shared to enable fulfillment of the prize.

21. In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Dearne Pheasant Ltd’s reasonable control The Dearne Pheasant Ltd reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with ot without notice.

22. The Dearne Pheasant Ltd’s decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.

23. The winner’s name and social media username may be posted on the social media profiles of The Dearne Pheasant Ltd after the winner has been selected.
